A box of audience suggestions sits on the stage and the cast has no idea what the night has in store, but it's guaranteed to be hilarious, surprising, and at least as bold as you are.
Featuring a diverse cast of extraordinary singers, improvisers, and storytellers, Dropped Notes will have you holding your breath and losing it with laughter as the cast tackles your new topics every night.
FEATURED OPENER: MELANIE OWEN
Melanie Owen is a bass/guitar/ukulele player, singer, writer, trivia host and entertainer who fell hard for watching Stand Up during the pandemic, then dove into writing for comedy and getting on stage in April 2023, thanks to Portland's amazing comedy scene. They have been fortunate to be on some amazing shows like Sizable Shenanigans, Hear You Loud & Queer, Be Gay Do Crime, You Oughta Know, Defiant Joy & The Bechdel Set as well as being a finalist in Portland's First Comedy Pageant at Curious Comedy. Why the Ukulele? Because it brings Mel joy and it was the easiest instrument to take on the bus when they had no car.

As of 10/1/22 - At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks to attend our shows and events. We strongly encourage those who can get vaccinated to do so for your safety and the safety of others. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. Many of our staff are still choosing to wear masks, so it's likely you will not be the only one in a mask. We support you taking whatever precautions feel right to you!

CURIOUS is an all-ages venue! However, Dropped Notes is based on anonymous audience suggestions, and is NOT family friendly. Audience discretion is advised.

We have a parking lot behind the theater and ample street parking immediately around the building.
