FREE INTRO TO IMPROV COMEDY
TRY IMPROV. MEET FUN PEOPLE. HAVE A BLAST!
Are you interested in improv but want a chance to dip your toe in the water before jumping all the way in? Well, guess what! Curious Comedy Theater offers FREE INTROS! In this workshop, you’ll get to sample a CURIOUS Class, connecting, creating, and celebrating in a warm, welcoming, low-stakes environment.
Expect to play group games, meet fantastic people, and have more fun than you thought you would. We can’t wait to meet you!
BEGINNER IMPROV DROP-IN SERIES
Fundamentals of Improvisation
In this series of classes, students will work on a range of beginner improv skills including confidence, communication, teamwork, various short-form improv games, and introductory scene work.
If you have no experience with improv, are looking to try something new, or are curious how improvisation can enrich your day-to-day, this series is for you.

INTERMEDIATE IMPROV DROP-IN SERIES
Introduction to Scene work
In this series of classes, students will work on a range of intermediate skills including longform scenework, advanced character creation, environment, objective, and relationship. You will also receive tailored guidance from an experienced coach.
ADVANCED IMPROV DROP-IN SERIES
Longform Performance Mastery
In this series, students will work on a range of advanced skills including advanced scenework, relationship, and game. You will also explore formats like Armando, Advanced Montage, and the Harold while receiving tailored guidance from an experienced coach.
(Recommended for anyone who has taken a both CORE classes or Performance Mastery at Curious Comedy Theater or equivalent at another theater )
- ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED. Masks are welcome, but not required.
- All classes at Curious Comedy are anti-racist, anti-misogynist, anti-ableist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, anti-ageist class that strives to be inclusive of all experiences. We are always learning and aim to keep the class safe for everyone.
- Class minimum is 6 people.
- All sales are final and Curious will be unable to issue a refund for class purchases. Curious reserves the right to change the Instructor of a class at any time, and doing so will not result in a refund.
